Konono No. 1

I had heard about Konono No. 1 from the Aquarius Records online CD reviews so I was pretty excited to see them at Coachella. Their set was basically one long song of world beat music. The place was packed and everyone had a smile on their face. One couldn't help but dance to their intoxicating sound of thumb pianos and drums. It was exhilarating, even on the last day of the 3-day, 40+ degree sweltering hot, marathon concert.
