Last night was The Cat Empire, tonight is Wolf Parade and I was and will be absent for both. I'm recovering from my Ness Creek adventure that happened last weekend. Ness Creek is such a great place for listening to music. A lot of people go for the party, but I go for the music. The workshop stages are my favourite of any music festival and Ness Creek has some amazing moments. Highlights of the weekend were: The Sadies rocking the main stage after the rain went away and the stars came out, The Karpinka Brothers backed by The Breakmen in a workshop, Little Miss Higgins, The Sunparlour Players, and Scott Nolan's new song about his road manager that passed away last winter. There were lots more, but that's all I can remember at this early time in the morning. Anyway, here is the playlist for today!
